I really love this...

I love checking out polls and finding some total random person has decided to vote. It makes me feel like valvoline in the engine of democracy. Once or twice, it's been people I have NO connection to. No common friends, nothing. It's kind of neat.

Hoo'd Win!? Part Keep Me Searching for a Heart of Kryptonite

In the world of Comics Blogging, there are the kings, and there are the guys who don't know what the purple healing ray is.

Mike Sterling is a king, and I'll bet he knows what the purple healing ray is.

Mike likes Swamp Thing. No, he REALLY likes Swamp Thing. He owns the Swamp Thing Chalk.

One day, in discussions on Prog Ruin, someone asked: Who would Win, Swamp Thing or Metallo with a White Kryptonite Heart.

Mike, of course, replied "Swamp Thing. Like Superman ever lost just because Metallo had a green Kryptonite heart.". A valid point.

But, my loyal bitterites, I sense bias. Mike loves the old Swamp Thing. You are a more impartial audience.

So, make your choice! Hoo'd Win?! The Elemental with a heart of gold, or the Cyborg with a heat of White Kryptonite?

Choose! Choose now! Choose wisely!

Poll #798708 Hoo'd Win!? Metallo with a heart of White Kryptonite,or Swamp Thing?

Hoo'd Win?! Elemental Vs Menal

Metallo with a White Kryptonite Heart
8(14.5%)
Swamp Thing
47(85.5%)

Saw it!

Cynra & I took in BC, BC tonight. Quite excellent.

Good film. Good plot, and fairly easy to translate from Movie to English (or French, I suppose). The sound was a bit off, so you couldn't hear what some of the characters were saying sometimes. That may have been due to the fact so many people were laughing.

The crowd was fairly full for a Canadian movie at an AMC theatre, especially THIS AMC theatre. I think it was the same size as the audience that saw Krissh with us. It skewed older than the normal audience, but hey.

I enjoyed it. Someone mentioned that a reviewer wants to see it as a TV show. I could honestly do without that. Subtitles on TV are harsh.

But sequels? Sign me up.
